We are one of the largest and most successful transport research groups in Europe comprising over seventy academic staff, postdoctoral researchers and PhD students. We undertake research and teaching in all aspects of the design, planning, management, operation and control of transport systems and services including surface, aviation and maritime modes, drawing on the disciplines of engineering, economics, environmental science and mathematics. Our research, frequently undertaken jointly with industry, has been consistently top rated (5*) in the UK Government�s regular Research Assessment Exercise. We offer a range of Masters courses (accredited by the ICE, IHT and CILT) and CPD opportunities.
