Our extensive work for Network Rail is managed by a dedicated team who plan and implement lift refurbishments, modernisations and new installations right across the UK rail network.

Escalators and moving walkways team
This team are dedicated to the sale and installation of escalators and moving walkways for a whole range of well-known brands.

We take care in everything we do. Our in-house health and safety experts ensure we guarantee the safety of our passengers, our customers and our engineers. This care has been recognised with two RoSPA Occupational Health and Safety Gold Awards.

Our dedicated EMW team supply, install and maintain escalators and moving walkways for leading supermarkets and retailers across the UK.

Major Lift Refurbishments

Lift Services, Maintenance & Refurbishment

At Stannah Lift Services we are dedicating to providing local lift services, nationwide from our UK network of branches. Over 320 highly-trained Stannah engineers look after almost 82,000 lifts - most types from all manufacturers.

We provide:

• Service and repair
• Preventative maintenance
• Supplementary testing of in-service lifts
• Local Authority bulk contracts
• National Contracts – providing a single point of contact for portfolio management
• Lift refurbishment and modernisation – managed by our Major Projects team
• Bespoke new lifts – with our Major Projects team
• Advice on the latest guidance and regulations
• Network Rail work – managed by our dedicated Network Rail team
• Escalator and moving walkways (EMWs) – supply, installation and maintenance from our dedicated EMW team

In 2009 our planned maintenance calls totalled 144,743 and we attended 82,756 call-outs. We provide 24-hour local call out, 365 days a year from 11 service branches, nationwide.
