Barnet Council consults residences on social care performance
Barnet Council is asking local residents for their views on the performance of its adult social care services in the past year.
The Local Account, which will be published next month, is the first document of its kind to be issued by the council.
It is intended to provide residents with a clear, easily accessible account of how well the authority has performed over the last 12 months.
Residents are being asked to comment on which social care services they would like the council to focus on; what information would help them judge the success of these services; and the best way to present and publish this data.
The consultation runs until 19 November.
Barnet's cabinet member for adults, Councillor Sachin Rajput, said: "the first Local Account will give residents a chance to see what the successes and challenges have been in adult social care over the past year.
"But it's really important that we get as clear an idea as possible from people about what will make this relevant and meaningful to them. That's why the council wants to get the views of residents on how to achieve this."
