Barnsley Council acquires Gateway Plaza

Barnsley Council has bought the Gateway Plaza development for an estimated £20million from Quest Property and Landmark Development Projects.

The council plans to occupy 78,000 square feet of the scheme’s office block.

As well as office space, the 96,000 square foot development located in the town centre includes a Premier Inn, an NHS Health Centre and 188 apartments.
