New headquarters for York City Council

The contract to provide the new headquarters for the City of York Council has been awarded to developers York Investors.

York Investors is comprised of York-based developers S Harrison and national property consultancy Buccleuch Property.

York’s historic former railway station is to be transformed into new headquarters for the council.
The new headquarters will include a York Customer Centre.

Work is expected to be completed by 2012.
